Dr. Krista Burns, co-founder of the American Posture Institute, is a Certified Postural Neurologist, Certified Posture Expert, Doctor of Health Administration, and Doctor of Chiropractic. She is a highly sought after media expert, author, and speaker.
With 2 doctorate degrees, Dr. Krista's work has been featured on Fox News and Global Woman Magazine. She has been a keynote presenter at prestigious conferences such as TEDx and the World Congress of Neurology and Neurological Disorders. At TEDx Dr. Krista received the “Noticeable Difference” award because her presentation had the most noticeable change on the audience.
Through her teaching at the American Posture Institute she has impacted thousands of patients achieve better posture. She is the author of the textbook The Posture Principles.
To spread awareness of proper posture for health and wellbeing, Dr. Krista created and implemented a publicly recognized postural hygiene program called “Better Posture for Brighter Futures” throughout Italian schools. She also developed the renowned Posture Archetype System helping patients discover their unique Posture Archetype as their first step to posture transformation.
Today she is leading the charge against Digital Dementia. She is the Host of the Digital Dementia Summit and a leading expert in the industry.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Krista has always had a love for fitness. She was a competitive member of the United States Freestyle Development Ski Team, and competed at the US National Ski Championships. Dr. Krista was also a nationally recognized fitness competitor in the category of Bikini Bodybuilding. She was the Italian Grand Prix Overall Champion, she finished 3rd overall in the IBFA Bodybuilding World Championships, and 4th in the Italian Natural Bodybuilding Championships.
